Spicy Oats Pancake Recipe

Spicy Oats Pancake is a perfect savory dish that you can easily prepare at your home within few minutes. This pancake is an ideal dish for morning breakfast and it is also a perfect and healthy dish for your kid’s. The addition of various spices gives a nice flavor and taste to the dish and also oats gives a nice nutty flavor. Let’s follow this recipe.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cupquick cooking rolled oats
- 1/4 cupwhole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
- 1/4 cupjowar (white millet) flour
- 1/4 cupfinely chopped onions
- 1/4 cupfinely chopped tomatoes
- saltto taste
- 1 tspginger-green chili paste
- 2 tbspchopped coriander (dhania)
- 1 1/4 tspoil for greasing and cooking
Directions
- In a bowl, add oats, wheat flour, jowar flour, chopped onion, chopped tomatoes, salt, ginger-green chili paste, chopped coriander leaves and also add a little water and mix it nicely and make a thick batter.
- Heat a non-stick tawa (griddle) and grease it lightly by using ¼ tsp of oil and pour a ladleful of the batter on the tawa (griddle) and spread in a circular motion to make a 100 mm. (4”) diameter round pancake.
- Cook on a low flame till it turns golden brown in color from both the sides by using ¼ tsp of oil.
- Once done, switch off the flame and transfer it on serving plate and serve it any sauce of your choice.
