Delicious Mixed Vegetables Open Toast Recipe

Mixed Vegetables Open Toast is a lip-smacking dish with the delicious combination of various vegetables. This recipe is something which will not only be loved by kids but by also adults. These open toasts make excellent evening snacks for the kids and you can also serve them as a party appetizer. You can served this your kid’s as an evening snack.
Ingredients
- 5Bread slices, lightly buttereds
- 2 1/2 tbspGrated processed cheese
For The Mixed Vegetable Topping
- 1/2 cupFinely chopped and boiled french beans
- 1/2 cupFinely chopped and boiled carrots
- 1 tbspOil
- 1 1/2 tspFinely chopped garlic (lehsun)
- 1/2 cupFinely chopped onions
- 3 tbspTomato ketchup
- 1 tspChili powder
- 1/4 cupGrated processed cheese
- SaltTo Taste
Directions
For The Mixed Vegetable Topping
- Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the garlic and onions and fry on a medium flame for 1 minute.
- Add the french beans, carrot, tomato ketchup, chili powder, cheese and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes and stir occasionally and switch off the flame.
- Divide the topping in equal portions and keep it aside.
How To Proceed
- Place all the bread slices on a baking tray with the buttered side facing upwards and bake in a preheated oven at 200°c (400°f) for 10 minutes or till crisp.
- Place all the bread toasts on a clean, dry surface, spread a portion of the mixed vegetable topping and sprinkle ½ tbsp of cheese evenly over each toast.
- Place them on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 200°c (400°f) for 5 to 7 minutes or bake till the cheese melts.
- Serve it with a chill glass of strawberry shake and enjoy in very bite.
