Tasty and Crispy Paneer Pakora Recipe

Paneer Pakora is a popular Indian deep fried tea time snack. This snack is crunchy from outside and soft from inside. It gives a nice flavor in every bit and very easy to make. It can be served as a appetizer in any party. Try this snack at your home and enjoy it with a hot cup of tea.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cupsPaneer (cottage cheese) cubes
- OilDeep-frying
To Be Mixed Into A Dry Powder
- 1/4 tspCarom seeds (ajwain)
- 1/2 tspChili powder
- 1/2 tspGaram masala
- 1/2 tspCoriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder
- 1/2 tspDried mango powder (amchur)
- 1/4 tspTurmeric powder (haldi)
- 1/2 tspChaat masala
- SaltTo Taste
For The Batter
- 1 cupBesan (Bengal gram flour)
- 1/2 tspChili powder
- 1/4 tspTurmeric powder (haldi)
- 2Pinches of asafoetida (hing)
- 1 tbspHot oil
- 2 tbspChopped coriander (dhania)
- A Pinch ofBaking soda
- SaltTo Taste
Directions
For The Dry Powder
- In a bowl add carom seeds, chili powder, garam masala, coriander cumin seeds powder, mango powder, turmeric powder, salt and chaat masala and mix it nicely and keep it aside.
For The Batter
- In a batter add besan, chili powder, turmeric powder, hing, oil, chopped coriander leaves, soda, and salt and also add ½ cup of water and mix it well and keep it aside.
How To Proceed
- In a bowl add the paneer and the prepared dry masala powder and toss it gently.
- Heat the oil in a deep non-stick kadhai, dip each masala paneer cubes in the batter and drop it slowly into the hot oil and fry few at a time and deep-fry on a medium flame till golden brown in color from all the sides.
- Drain on an absorbent paper and serve it with green chutney.
