Yummy Moong Dal Seekh Kebab Recipe

Moong Dal Seekh Kebab is a popular, lip-smacking restaurant starter recipe. This vegetarian kebab is rich in protein and iron and it perfect for growing kid’s. These kebabs are flavored with different spices. It is a prefect snack dish when you have a sudden guest at your home. Try this fantastic and tasty kebab in your kitchen.
Ingredients
- 4-5Bread slices, whole wheat
- 1Onion, finely chopped
- 1Tomato, finely chopped
- 1Green Chili, finely chopped
- 2-3sprig Coriander leaves (Dhania), finely chopped
- 1/2 cupGram flour (besan)
- 4 teaspoonsCooking oil
- saltto taste
Directions
- Wash the moong dal in enough water and add the washed moong dal in a pressure cooker with 1 cup of water and cook till the dal is soft and all the water has evaporated.
- One done, transfer the boiled dal in a bowl and add grated onion, grated potatoes, chili powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, ginger- garlic paste, chaat masala, chopped coriander and salt and mix it nicely.
- Combine the cooked dal with the rest of the ingredients and mix it well and divide the mixture into equal portions.
- Use a thick Seekh (metal skewer), press each portion of the dal mixture on the Seekh and with the help of your fingers, make a 100 mm. (4") long kebab.
- Brush each kebab with oil and cook the kebabs over a charcoal or electric barbecue till they are evenly brown in color on all the sides.
- Once done, remove it and cut into pieces and serve it hot with green chutney.
