Tasty and Tangy Bread Pizza Recipe

Bread Pizza is a super, quick, and easy way to make pizza at your home. It is the perfect dish on busy days. This delicious, crispy bread pizza can be prepared in just few minutes. This can be served for weekend breakfast or also can be served as a snack with a cup of tea. Let’s follow this Tasty and Tangy Bread Pizza recipe.
Ingredients
- 6bread slices, lightly buttered
- 6 tbspgrated processed cheese
For The Pizza Sauce
- 1/2 cupblanched, peeled and chopped tomatoes
- 2 tbspolive oil
- 2bay leaves
- 4black peppercorns (kalimirch)
- 1/2 cupfinely chopped onions
- 1 tspfinely chopped garlic (lehsun)
- 1/2 cupfinely chopped capsicum
- 2 tbsptomato puree
- 1/4 cuptomato ketchup
- 1 tspsugar
- 1/2 tspdry red chili flakes (paprika)
- saltto taste
- 1/2 tspdried oregano
- 2 tbspfinely chopped basil
Directions
For the pizza sauce
- Heat the olive oil in a broad, non-stick pan, add the bay leaves and peppercorns and fry for a few seconds.
- Add the onions, garlic and capsicum and fry on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes and add the chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, tomato ketchup, sugar, chili flakes and salt, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes and stir occasionally.
- Add the dried oregano and chopped basil and mix it well and remove the bay leaves and peppercorns from the sauce and divide the pizza sauce into equal portions and keep it aside.
How to proceed
- Toast the bread slices in a pre-heated oven at 200°c (400°f) for 10 minutes and spread a portion of the prepared pizza sauce evenly over each bread slice and then sprinkle 1 tbsp of cheese over it.
- Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200°c (400°f) for 5 to 7 minutes or bake till the cheese melts.
- Serve it with chill chocolate milkshake and relish its flavors and taste.
