Orange and Raisin Muffins Recipe

Orange and Raisin Muffin is a delicious and mouth-watering muffin. This muffin has a tempting combination of orange squash and raisin. This muffin has a sweet and tangy flavor from orange and sweet flavor from the raisin. This is perfect for any occasion and also perfect with a cup of tea.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsporange squash
- 1 1/2 tspgrated orange rind
- /4 cupraisins (kismis)
- 1 cupplain flour (maida)
- 1/4 tspbaking soda
- 1/2 cupbutter
- 4 tbspcastor sugar
- 1/2 cupcondensed milk
- 5 tbspfresh cream
Directions
- In a bowl sieve the flour and baking soda and keep it aside.
- In a bowl add the butter, orange squash, orange rind and sugar and mix it with a spatula and mix it until smooth.
- Add the condensed milk, raisins, fresh cream and plain flour-baking soda mixture and mix it well and keep it aside.
- Grease the muffin molds with little butter and keep it aside and preheat the oven to 180°c.
- Pour a spoonful of the batter into each greased muffin molds and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°c (360°f) for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Once baked, cool slightly, de-mold the muffin from the mold and top it with butterscotch sauce and serve it.
