In a bowl add butter and mix it with a help of a wooden spoon for 2-3 min until light and smooth. Add the icing sugar-chocolate mixture gradually and mix it well and also add the vanilla essence and mix it well and keep it aside. How To proceed In a bowl add the butter and sugar and mix it very well by using a spoon and mix it until smooth. Add the plain flour, cocoa powder, vanilla essence and baking powder to the butter-sugar mixture and mix it well and knead into a dough by using approx. 3 tbsp of milk. Dust a little plain flour on the clean and dry surface, place the dough over it and roll into a 225mm. X 175mm. (11” x 9”) rectangle. Sprinkle a little sugar evenly over it, and again roll it lightly and cut the rolled dough into 20 equal rectangle portions. Place it on a baking tray and bake it on a pre-heated oven at 180°c (360°f) for 20 minutes and once baked, keep it aside it to cool. Once cooled, apply the prepared chocolate butter icing evenly over the biscuit and sandwich it with another biscuit. Store in an airtight container and enjoy it whenever you want to. Meghna Nath
