Prep Time: 10min Cook time: 15min Ingredients: 1/2 cupsoya granules,1 tspOil,1/2 tspcumin seeds (jeera),1 smallstick of cinnamon (dalchini),1cardamom (elaichi),a pinchof asafoetida (hing),1/2 cupchopped onions,1/2 cuppeeled and chopped carrot,1/2 cupgreen peas,1 1/2 cupslong grained rice (basmati) , washed and drained,1/4 tspchili powder,1/4 tspturmeric powder (haldi),1 tspcoriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder,saltto taste,1/4 cupchopped coriander leaves (dhania) for the garnish,3 cuphot water, Instructions: In a bowl soak the soya granules in 1 cup of hot water for 15 to 20 minutes and after 20 min drain the water from the soya granules and keep it aside. Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add the cumin seeds, cinnamon and cardamom and when the cumin seeds crackle, add asafoetida and onions and fry for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the chopped carrots, green peas, rice and soya granules and fry for 2 minutes. Add the chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander-cumin seeds powder, and salt and mix it well. Soya Granule and Vegetable Pulao Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupsoya granules
  • 1 tspOil
  • 1/2 tspcumin seeds (jeera)
  • 1 smallstick of cinnamon (dalchini)
  • 1cardamom (elaichi)
  • a pinchof asafoetida (hing)
  • 1/2 cupchopped onions
  • 1/2 cuppeeled and chopped carrot
  • 1/2 cupgreen peas
  • 1 1/2 cupslong grained rice (basmati) , washed and drained
  • 1/4 tspchili powder
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder (haldi)
  • 1 tspcoriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder
  • saltto taste
  • 1/4 cupchopped coriander leaves (dhania) for the garnish
  • 3 cuphot water

Directions
