Paneer Open Toast Recipe

Paneer Open Toast is a lip-smacking appetizer with the delicious combination of paneer and different seasoning. This recipe is something which is not only loved by kids but also loved by adults.This toast is a perfect appetizer to be served for the special occasion.
Ingredients
- 4toasted whole wheat bread slices (in a pan toast the bread till golden brown in color)
- 2 tsptomato ketchup
For The Topping
- 1/2 cupgrated low-fat paneer (cottage cheese)
- 1 tspoil
- 1/4 cupfinely chopped onions
- 1/2 tspfinely chopped ginger (adrak)
- 1 tspfinely chopped garlic (lehsun)
- 1 tspfinely chopped green chilies
- 1/2 cupfinely chopped capsicum (red, yellow, and green)
- 1/4 cupfinely chopped mint leaves (phudina)
- 1 tsplemon juice
- 1/2 tspchaat masala
- saltto taste
Directions
For the topping
- Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the onions, ginger, garlic, and green chilies and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute.
- Add the capsicum and fry on a medium flame for another minute.
- Add the paneer, mint leaves, lemon juice, chaat masala and salt, mix it well and fry on a medium flame for 30 seconds and stir occasionally.
- Divide the topping into equal portions and keep it aside.
How to proceed
- Place a toasted bread slice on a clean, dry surface and apply a portion of the topping evenly over it.
- Spread ½ tsp of tomato ketchup evenly over it and serve it.
