Jeera Rice Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 cupBasamati Rice
- 1 teaspoonShah Jeera
- 2 teaspoonGhee
- 1Sliced Onion
- Deep FryingOil For
- as neededSalt
- 1 and1\2cupWater
Directions
- Step1Soak rice for half an hour in a pressure cooker.
- Step2Place a pan and add ghee once it is heated, add the jeera to it.
- Step3Make sure not to burn the jeera.
- Step4Let it fry for a few minutes.
- Step5Add the rice to this mixture.
- Step6Let it fry for a few minutes.
- Step7Add 1 and 1\2 cups of water to the pressure cooker and ring it to boil.
- Step8Add salt to the rice.
- Step9Let it cook for 2-3 whistles on a medium flame.
