Jeera Rice Recipe
Want to try a different dish with an interesting ingredient. Here is Jeera Rice which is easy to prepare and delicious to taste. Here are the simple ingredients with the process.
Ingredients
- 1 cupBasamati Rice
- 1 teaspoonShah Jeera
- 2 teaspoonGhee
- 1Sliced Onion
- Deep FryingOil For
- as neededSalt
- 1 and1\2cupWater
Directions
- Soak rice for half an hour in a pressure cooker.
- Place a pan and add ghee once it is heated, add the jeera to it.
- Make sure not to burn the jeera.
- Let it fry for a few minutes.
- Add the rice to this mixture.
- Let it fry for a few minutes.
- Add 1 and 1\2 cups of water to the pressure cooker and ring it to boil.
- Add salt to the rice.
- Let it cook for 2-3 whistles on a medium flame.
