Raw Banana Bajji Recipe – Best Monsoon Snacks
Banana Bajji also called as Vazhakkai Bajji or Aratikaya Bajji that tempts you have one more after tasting one slice. It is such a fatty deep fry item usually preferred once a while as hot snacks on a cool evening.
Ingredients
- 1Raw banana
- 1 cupBesan
- 4 teaspoonsRice flour
- ½ teaspoonBaking soda
- Saltto taste
- 1 teaspoonCarom seeds
- ½ teaspoonRed chili powder
- ½ tablespoonCoriander leaves
- deep fryingOil for
Directions
- Step1Peal the skin of raw banana and wash it
- Step2Cut the vertically and chop them into medium slices
- Step3Take a mixing bowl and add besan flour, rice flour to it
- Step4Mix them well. Add salt, red chili powder, carom seeds, coriander leaves and baking soda
- Step5Add little water and make thick batter that is suitable for dipping the banana
- Step6Place a deep frying pan on flame and add oil toit
- Step7Dip the banana slice in the batter and release them carefully into hot oil
- Step8Fry the pieces until they turn golden brown in color
- Step9Remove them from oil and drain on an oil absorbent paper
- Step10Transfer them on serving plate and serve it hot with Coconut Chutney.
