Khoya Sweet Recipe
Know the traditional way of making Khoya Recipe with full cream milk. Use large amount of milk to make the khoya. It just melts in your mouth within seconds and you would like to have more after tasting it.
Ingredients
- 2 litersMilk
- 1 cupSugar
Directions
- Pour milk in a large thick bottomed pan
- Place it on stove top and bring it to boil on low flame
- Stir at intervals with spatula
- Scrape the milk solids from the sides and add it to the milk
- The milk starts reducing while it is getting thickened slowly
- Continue to boil the milk on low flame till you see bubbles bursting in the reduced milk
- When the bubbles start bursting, you need to continuously stir it as there are chances that the reduced milk will get browned or burnt
- Add sugar to it and stir it well. When the milk is thickened, off the flame and cool it at room temperature
You can have this khoya directly or use it in preparing most of the Indian Sweets or Indian Curries. Also try Tasty Kulfi with fresh milk for your kids during holidays.
