Tasty and Spicy Dum Aloo Recipe

Ingredients
- 250gmsPotato
- ½ teaspoonGaram masala
- 100gmsTomato
- ¼ teaspoonCumin seeds
- 1 ½ teaspoonCoriander powder
- ½ teaspoonRed chili powder
- ¼ teaspoonTurmeric powder
- 2 tablespoonsOil
- Saltto taste
- 1 tablespoonCoriander leaves
- ¼ teaspoonCumin powder
- ¼ teaspoonMustard seeds
Directions
- Step1Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes
- Step2Chop the tomato and keep it aside
- Step3Place the pressure cooker on flame and add oil to it
- Step4Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and let them splutter for few seconds
- Step5Add chopped tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes till they become soft
- Step6Add potatoes and fry them for 2 minutes
- Step7Add coriander powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, salt and garam Masala powder
- Step8Mix them well
- Step9Add water to it and cover the lid
- Step10Pressure cook it until one whistle and reduce the flame
- Step11Cook under low flame for about 5 minutes
- Step12Off the flame and wait until the pressure releases from the cooker
- Step13When the pressure from cooker is released completely, remove it in a bowl and garnish it with coriander leaves.
Serve it hot with hot rice with Stuffed Brinjal Fry.
