Fresh Corn Pakora Recipe
Searching for Crunchy Corn Pakoda Recipe? Try this Crispy Corn Pakoda that is prepared with sweet corn, besan and yogurt. It is one of the best tea-time snacks during rainy season.
Ingredients
- 3 cupsCorn kernels
- 1Onion
- 3Green chilies
- 1 ½ inchGinger
- 3 tablespoonsFresh coriander leaves
- 3 tablespoonsBesan
- 1 tablespoonRice flour
- 1 tablespoonCorn flour
- Saltto taste
- for fryingOil
Directions
- Step1Place a pan on flame and add oil to it
- Step2While the oil is heating, prepare the pakoda mixture
- Step3Take a bowl and add ground corn, chopped onions, green chilies, ginger, fresh coriander leaves and salt
- Step4Mix them well
- Step5Sprinkle besan, rice flour and corn flour over the mixture and mix them well
- Step6Do not add water to the mixture as the moisture in sweet corn will be enough to blend the mixture
- Step7Shape into small balls and place them in oil
- Step8Deep fry them in the oil
- Step9Fry the balls till they become golden brown in color
- Step10Remove them on an oil absorbent paper and serve them hot with Sweet Lassi.
