Best and Healthy Baked Corn Recipe
Prepare this Baked Corn Open Toast and have it for your breakfast with your kids. You can prepare the dish at any day or you can also consider it as an after school snacks for kids. Have a look at the recipe.
Ingredients
- 6Bread slices
- 1 cupBoiled sweet corn
- 2 tablespoonsButter
- 1 tablespoonMaida
- 1 cupMilk
- Saltto taste
- ½ cupChopped onions
- 2 teaspoonsChopped green chilies
- 2 pinchesSugar
- 3 tablespoonsProcessed cheese
Directions
- Place a non stick pan on flame and add 1 tablespoon of butter to it
- Add plain flour to it and fry it for about 30 seconds to 1 minute
- Add milk, salt and pepper to it
- Mix them well and cook it for about 2 minutes by stirring it continuously
- Place another non stick pan on flame and add 1 tablespoon of butter t it
- Add onions, green chilies and saute them for 1 minute
- Add boiled corn, sugar, salt, pepper and mix it well
- Grease the baking tray with oil and arrange the bread slices on the tray
- Bake them for about 7 minutes on 200 degrees F
- Place 1 tablespoon of filling on bread slice and spread it evenly
- Sprinkle ½ tablespoon of cheese on it. Continue the same with the remaining slices
- Place it on tray and bake it in oven for about 12 minutes at 2000 degrees C until the cheese melts
- Cut each toast diagonally into 2 halves and serve them immediately with any sauce.
