Jeera Pepper Kadhi Recipe
Jeera Morya Kadhi is one of the famous Konkani Recipes prepared with cumin seeds and pepper as main ingredients. Dry roast jeera, pepper and chili. Make them to a fine paste and temper it with ghee. Have a look at the recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 filletsFresh coconut
- 1Cumin seeds
- 1 tablespoonPepper corns
- ½ tablespoon finely choppedRed chilies
- 5 leavesTamarind extract
- 2 eggsChopped garlic
- Saltto taste
- Oil
Directions
- Place a pan and add oil to it
- Once the oil is hot, add cumin seeds, pepper and red chilies to it
- Fry them well and cool them for 10 minutes
- Add fried cumin seeds, pepper, red chilies, coconut, tamarind and salt to grinder and blend them to fine paste
- Add water if required and make paste to a consistency of sambar
- Place a pan on flame and add oil to it
- Add chopped garlic to it and fry them till they turn brown in color
- Add the masala paste to it and serve it with hot rice. The curry also tastes good with any fried rice like Vegetable Biryani or any other flavored rice.
