Ingredients

  • ¾ cupToovar dal
  • ¼ teaspoonTurmeric powder
  • to tasteSalt
  • ½ teaspoonCumin powder
  • 1 ½ cup (Carrots, cauliflower, potatoes, etc)Boiled vegetables
  • ½ cupGreen Paste
  • 1 teaspoonSugar
  • 2 teaspoonsLemon juice
  • ¼ cupFinely chopped coriander leaves

Directions

  • Wash toor dal and soak it in water for about 3 hours
  • Drain the water and add turmeric powder, salt, 1 ½ cup of water to it
  • Pressure cook till 3 whistles and off the flame
  • Add cumin seeds powder, boiled vegetables and green paste to dal
  • Off the flame and add few drops of lemon juice along with coriander leaves before serving with rice.
