Indian Breakfast Instant Oats Idli Recipe
Idlis are a quite easy breakfast recipe that makes a perfect combination with any chutney. Just stock the powdered oats and roasted rava so that you can prepare Oats Idly within minutes. Have a look.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cupOats powder
- ¾ cupWhole wheat rava
- 2 cupsButtermilk
- Saltto taste
- ½ teaspoonBaking soda
- 1 teaspoonCarrot grated
- 1Green chili
- Fistfulgreen peas
- ¼ teaspoonMustard
- 1 tablespoonOil
- pinchTurmeric
- 5 leavesCurry leaves
- ½ tablespoonCoriander leaves
Directions
- Place a pan and oil to it
- Heat the oil and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds
- Add curry leaves and turmeric powder
- Saute them for few seconds and add curry leaves along with grated carrot
- Saute them on low flame and add oats, rava, salt
- Mix them well and add buttermilk to it
- Mix them well to make a thick paste
- Off the flame and set them aside
- Once the batter is cool add pinch of baking soda to it
- Add one spoon of batter to plates and steam cook on low flame for about 12 minutes
- Off the flame and place the idlis on a plate
- The tasty Idli with Oats is ready to have.
The idlis tastes good with any kind of chutney. Try it with Onion Chutney.
