South Indian Rajma Sundal Recipe – Kidney Beans

Ingredients
- ½ cupRajma
- ¼ cupGrated coconut
- 2 teaspoonsOil
- ½ teaspoonMustard seeds
- 1 teaspoonUrad dal
- 1Red chilies
- 1Green chilies
- 5 leavesCurry leaves
Directions
- Wash rajma with water and soak them for about 6 to 7 hours
- Add some salt to them and boil them with water up to 5 whistles
- Keep them aside
- Place a pan on flame and add oil to it
- Add mustard seeds to the hot oil and let them splutter
- Add urad dal, red chili, green chili and curry leaves to it
- Add the cooked rajma to it
- Fry them for 10 to 15 minutes
- Add salt if required. Once they are fried, add grated coconut to it and mix them well
- Off the flame and remove them to a serving bowl.
