Rava Kesari Recipe – How to Prepare Sooji Kesari

Ingredients
- 1 cupSemolina
- 1 cupGhee
- 2 cupsSugar
- 3 cupsWater
- ½ teaspoonCardamom powder
- 8Cashew nuts
- 8Raisins
- pinchKesari powder or orange food color
Directions
- Step1Place a pan on flame and dry roast it for few seconds
- Step2Heat ghee in another pan and add cashew nuts & raisins separately
- Step3Remove them to a bowl and keep them aside
- Step4In the same ghee fry Sooji once again for some time
- Step5Boil water in a separate bowl and add a pinch of kesari powder to it
- Step6Then add the boiled water to the rava
- Step7Cook it on low flame till the water evaporates
- Step8Add sugar to it and mix them well
- Step9Cook it on low flame until kesari starts leaving on the sides of the pan
- Step10Off them flame and add cardamom powder, cashew seeds, raisins at the end.
