Easy Besan Ladoo Recipe
Besan Ke Ladoo is one of the popular sweet in Maharashtra that is prepared in most of the houses for Diwali. Follow the step by step preparation process and try this recipe for this Diwali.
Ingredients
- 2 cupsBesan
- ¼ cupGhee
- ¾ cupPowdered sugar
- 3Cardamoms
- 1 tablespoonRaisins
- 1 tablespoonChopped cashews
Directions
- Place a non stick pan on flame and add ghee to it
- Heat the ghee and add besan to hot ghee
- Stir it continuously for about 6 to 7 minutes on low flame or continue stirring till the color of besan changes
- Add sugar to it and mix well
- Stir it continuously and continue the process for about 5 minutes
- Off the flame and then add dry fruits along with cardamom powder to the hot mixture
- Cool down for few minutes
- Once the besan mixture is warm enough where you can handle and start preparing ladoos, then start preparing medium sized laddo by taking small amount of hot besan
- Make it in round by applying ghee to your hands
- Serve the Tasty Besan Ladus immediately. If you want to store it for 2 or 3 days, store them in air tight container.
Add one or two tablespoons of ghee to the mixture if you are unable to prepare the ladoos. Along with ladoos, you can consider Wheat Pongal as naivedyam to god on Sankranthi.
