Spicy Pasta Indian Style Recipe

Ingredients
- 1Onions
- 1 cupPasta
- 1 teaspoonChopped garlic
- ¼ cupChopped carrots
- 1 teaspoonRed chili powder
- ¼ cupChopped capsicum
- 2 tablespoonsPeas
- ¼ teaspoonTurmeric powder
- ½ teaspoonGaram masala powder
- ¼ teaspoonBlack pepper powder
- pinchKasoori methi
- ½ teaspoonItalian seasoning
- Saltto taste
- 2 tablespoonsChopped coriander leaves
- Olive oilfor cooking
- 2 teaspoonsCumin seeds
Directions
- Add 4 cups of water to bowl of pasta
- Add pinch of salt and boil for about 12 minutes as per the instructions on package
- Drain the water of pasta in another bowl and store the water for future use
- Boil water and place a tomato in boiled water for a minute
- Run the tomato through cold water and peel off the skin
- Grind it coarsely
- Place a pan on flame and add oil to it
- Add jeera and garlic to it. Fry them for a minute
- Add finely chopped onions and fry them for few seconds
- Add all the vegetables and salt to it. Fry them for few minutes on medium flame
- Add tomato puree along with red chili powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, kasoori methi, Italian seasoning to the mixture
- Mix them well and fry them till oil separates
- Add chopped capsicum at the end and fry for a minute
- Add boiled pasta and fry for about 3 to 5 minutes
- Add the reserved water to loosen up the curry. Stir it well for a 2 minutes and add black pepper powder
- Off the flame and add chopped coriander leaves at the end.
You can soak the pasta before going to office and just boil it after coming from office. You can also mix some butter if you are making it for kids. You can also try this Homemade Italian Pasta, if you are looking for a variation in pasta.
