Spicy Pasta Indian Style Recipe

Ingredients
- 1Onions
- 1 cupPasta
- 1 teaspoonChopped garlic
- ¼ cupChopped carrots
- 1 teaspoonRed chili powder
- ¼ cupChopped capsicum
- 2 tablespoonsPeas
- ¼ teaspoonTurmeric powder
- ½ teaspoonGaram masala powder
- ¼ teaspoonBlack pepper powder
- pinchKasoori methi
- ½ teaspoonItalian seasoning
- Saltto taste
- 2 tablespoonsChopped coriander leaves
- Olive oilfor cooking
- 2 teaspoonsCumin seeds
Directions
- Step1Add 4 cups of water to bowl of pasta
- Step2Add pinch of salt and boil for about 12 minutes as per the instructions on package
- Step3Drain the water of pasta in another bowl and store the water for future use
- Step4Boil water and place a tomato in boiled water for a minute
- Step5Run the tomato through cold water and peel off the skin
- Step6Grind it coarsely
- Step7Place a pan on flame and add oil to it
- Step8Add jeera and garlic to it. Fry them for a minute
- Step9Add finely chopped onions and fry them for few seconds
- Step10Add all the vegetables and salt to it. Fry them for few minutes on medium flame
- Step11Add tomato puree along with red chili powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, kasoori methi, Italian seasoning to the mixture
- Step12Mix them well and fry them till oil separates
- Step13Add chopped capsicum at the end and fry for a minute
- Step14Add boiled pasta and fry for about 3 to 5 minutes
- Step15Add the reserved water to loosen up the curry. Stir it well for a 2 minutes and add black pepper powder
- Step16Off the flame and add chopped coriander leaves at the end.
You can soak the pasta before going to office and just boil it after coming from office. You can also mix some butter if you are making it for kids. You can also try this Homemade Italian Pasta, if you are looking for a variation in pasta.
