Special Tomato Raita Recipe for Biryani
Tomato Onion Raita is deliciously made with curd, tomatoes and onions that is seasoned with coriander leaves, curry leaves and green chilies. It is generally served with all type of biryanis and rotis. Know how to make Tomato Raita in an easy way.
Ingredients
- 2 cupsPlain curd
- 1 teaspoonGinger grated
- ½ teaspoonCoriander leaves
- Saltto taste
- pinchSugar
- 2 teaspoonsOil
- ½ teaspoonSplit black gram
- ¼ teaspoonCumin seeds
- ¼ teaspoonMustard seeds
- 1Chili
- 3 leavesCurry leaves
Directions
- Take a mixing bowl and add finely chopped tomatoes, onions, ginger to the bowl
- Mix them well and salt, sugar to it
- Mix it well
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds
- Allow them to splutter for few seconds and add green chili pieces, curry leaves
- Saute them 10 seconds and off the flame
- Add the seasoning to yogurt and mix it well
- Serve it hot with Egg Biryani or have it with any roti.
