Easy Sarason Ki Saag Recipe
Indian Saag Recipe is prepared out of mustard greens and spinach leaves that is served as a main course along with basmati rice. Have a look at the recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 cupsMustard leaves
- 2 tablespoonsOil
- 1Onions
- 2Tomatoes
- 1 teaspoonGinger garlic paste
- ½ teaspoonCoriander powder
- ¼ teaspoonTurmeric powder
- ¼ teaspoonChili powder
- ½ cupYogurt
Directions
- Step1Boil mustard leaves until all the water gets evaporated
- Step2Grind the boiled spinach to form puree
- Step3Place a pan and add oil to it
- Step4Add onions to the hot oil
- Step5Fry them till they become golden brown color
- Step6Add tomatoes to it along with ginger garlic paste
- Step7Mix them well and fry them for 10 minutes till the mixture thickens
- Step8Add salt to it and cook for 2 more minutes
- Step9Add the dry boiled mustard leaves at the end and mix it well with the tomato mixture
- Step10Fry for 5 minutes and off the flame
- Step11Place the curry in a serving bowl and serve it for your guest
The curry tastes good with basmati rice. So serve it hot with boiled basmati rice.
