Best and Yummy Chilli Parotta Recipe
Chilli Parotta is one of the famous South Indian Recipe and tastes good with kurma or raita. Add egg or chicken pieces to it for more taste.
Ingredients
- 2Fresh parotta
- 1Onions
- 1Capsicum
- 3Garlic
- 1 inchGinger
- 2 tablespoonsCoriander leaves
- 1 teaspoonRed chili powder
- ½ teaspoonSambar powder
- ¼ teaspoonGaram masala powder
- 1 teaspoonChili or tomato sauce
- Saltto taste
- 2 tablespoonsSpring onions
- 2 tablespoonsGrated carrot
Directions
- Step1Prepare parottas and toast them to golden brown
- Step2Let them cool. Once they are cooled, cut them into pieces of desired size with knife
- Step3Chop the onions, capsicums into strips
- Step4Crush the garlic clove and chop the ginger
- Step5Slit the green chilies and chop the coriander leaves
- Step6Place pan on oil and add oil to it
- Step7Add the crushed garlic cloves to oil along with chopped ginger
- Step8Fry them till they turn to golden color
- Step9Add onions to it and fry till they turn transparent
- Step10Then add capsicum, slit chilies, coriander leaves
- Step11Fry them for 2 minutes on low flame
- Step12Add sambar powder, garam masala powder, red chili powder and salt
- Step13Add sauce and mix all the ingredients well
- Step14Add the parotta pieces and mix it well so that the sauce along with spices are evenly spread to parottas
- Step15Add coriander leaves, spring onions and grated carrot to it finally
- Step16Stir them well and off the flame
- Step17Remove it in a serving plate and have it hot
Add the beaten egg before adding the spices to make the dish yummier.
