Best Recipe for Chicken Shorba
Side Gravy Curry is always important for any biryani. Try this Shroba or Sherva Recipe with Chicken and have it with vegetable biryani or tomato rice.
Ingredients
- 100gmsBoneless chicken
- 500mlChicken stock
- 1 tablespoonGinger garlic paste
- 1 tablespoonCumin seeds
- 1 tablespoonWhite flour
- 1 tablespoonOil
- Saltto taste
- pinchWhite pepper
- 1 tablespoonFresh cream
- ½ tablespoonChili powder
- 2Chili
- ¼ teaspoonTurmeric powder
- ½ teaspoonGaram masala powder
- 1Onion
- Water
Directions
- Add oil to pan and fry the chicken pieces till they become tender
- Remove them in a plate and keep them aside
- Add cumin seeds to the same pan and let it splutter for a while
- Add chopped onion to the pan and fry till they become golden brown in color
- Add chilies to it and fry for 1 minute
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell disappears from it
- Add white flour and fry it for a 1 minute
- Then add fried chicken piece, chicken stock, white pepper powder, chili powder, turmeric powder and salt to it
- Fry it on a medium flame for about 4 minutes and then add water to it
- Let it cook for about 20 minutes. Stir the mixture in middle and once it is cooked, add garam masala powder at the end.
- Off the flame and garnish it with coriander leaves
- Remove it in a serving bowl and serve it with fresh cream at the top.
