Best Recipe for Chicken Shorba
Side Gravy Curry is always important for any biryani. Try this Shroba or Sherva Recipe with Chicken and have it with vegetable biryani or tomato rice.
Ingredients
- 100gmsBoneless chicken
- 500mlChicken stock
- 1 tablespoonGinger garlic paste
- 1 tablespoonCumin seeds
- 1 tablespoonWhite flour
- 1 tablespoonOil
- Saltto taste
- pinchWhite pepper
- 1 tablespoonFresh cream
- ½ tablespoonChili powder
- 2Chili
- ¼ teaspoonTurmeric powder
- ½ teaspoonGaram masala powder
- 1Onion
- Water
Directions
- Step1Add oil to pan and fry the chicken pieces till they become tender
- Step2Remove them in a plate and keep them aside
- Step3Add cumin seeds to the same pan and let it splutter for a while
- Step4Add chopped onion to the pan and fry till they become golden brown in color
- Step5Add chilies to it and fry for 1 minute
- Step6Add ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell disappears from it
- Step7Add white flour and fry it for a 1 minute
- Step8Then add fried chicken piece, chicken stock, white pepper powder, chili powder, turmeric powder and salt to it
- Step9Fry it on a medium flame for about 4 minutes and then add water to it
- Step10Let it cook for about 20 minutes. Stir the mixture in middle and once it is cooked, add garam masala powder at the end.
- Step11Off the flame and garnish it with coriander leaves
- Step12Remove it in a serving bowl and serve it with fresh cream at the top.
