Diwali Special Rice Kheer Recipe
Rice Kheer is an Indian pudding and popular dessert that is prepared in many house all over India. If you just have milk and sugar, you can prepare this dish within few minutes. Prepare this sweet recipe on any occasion as it considered as the best dish for many festivals. Have a glance at the recipe cooking method.
Ingredients
- ¼ cupRice
- 5 cupsMilk
- 2Cardamom seeds
- 2 teaspoonsAlmonds
- pinchSaffron threads
- 1 tablespoonRaisins
- 3 tablespoons Sugar
Directions
- Place a pan on high flame and add rice, milk along with cardamom to it
- Bring them to boil by cooking them gently on low flame till the rice become soft
- Add almonds, saffron and raisins to it and mix them well in the rice mixture
- Add sugar to it and stir completely till sugar dissolves in it
- Remove rice kheer from it and serve it hot or cold
You can also add cashews instead of almonds. Add more ghee for better taste.
