Healthy and Best Aloo Palak Recipe
Palak Potato Curry is an Indian recipe popularly consumed as main course gravy. If you are searching for a non-creamy version, then you try with potato and if you searching for creamy version, then try with paneer. Have a look at Non Creamy Aloo Palak Recipe.
Ingredients
- 300gmsFresh spinach
- 2Garlic cloves
- 1 inchFresh ginger
- 2Onions
- 1Green chili
- 200gmsPotatoes
- 1 teaspoonTurmeric
- 2 tablespoonsGhee
- 1 teaspoonCumin seeds
- 1 teaspoonGaram masala
- ½ teaspoonGround cumin
- 1 tablespoonFresh cream
Directions
- Place pan on low flame and add oil to it
- Add cumin, mustard seeds and let them splutter for ½ seconds
- Add onions, green chilies, garlic cloves to it and fry them for about 2 minutes
- Add spinach and fry it for about 10 minutes
- Remove the fried content from the pan and blend into a fine puree. Keep aside
- Boil the potatoes with salt and turmeric for about 10 minutes
- Set them aside when done
- Take a pan and heat ghee in it. Fry cumin seeds, spinach puree for few minutes
- Add boiled potatoes to it and fry for 1 minute
- Add garam masala powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and add little water if required
- Add fresh cream at the end and off the flame.
