Ingredients
- 1Wheat flour
- 1 teaspoonAll purpose flour
- 400gmsDry active yeast
- 200mlSugar
- 165gmsOil
- 3 tablespoonsDairy butter
- 1 cupMinced or chopped garlic
- Saltto taste
- 1 tablespoonChopped celery
- 1 tablespoonDry oregano
- 1 tablespoonCarom seeds
- 4 tablespoonsNutritional yeast
- 4 tablespoonsSunflower oil
- Pepper
Directions
- Take warm water in a bowl and add ½ tablespoon of sugar and yeast to it
- Mix it and allow to cool at room temperature for about 10 to 12 minutes
- Add flour, salt and oil to the yeast mixture
- Apply oil to the smooth dough and keep covered for about 1 to 2 hours
- Take butter in a bowl and beat it until light, fluffy
- Add all the spices and herbs along with salt and mix them well
- Punch on the dough before you start preparing the rolls
- Divide the dough into two equal parts. Take one part of the dough and dust it with flour. Toll to a round shape or rectangle till you get ½ inch width in the rolled dough
- Spread garlic butter on the dough and roll the dough till the end
- Continue with the same process with the remaining dough. Both the rolls are ready and you can start slicing the dough
- Start cutting the dough from the center. Cut it into two equal parts so that you have 4 equal slices with one dough
- Grease a pan and place all the rolls in the pan. Brush their tops with remaining garlic butter and cover the rolls for about 30 minutes so that the rolls get doubled size
- You can sprinkle few sesame seeds on top of the rolls if required
- Bake it in oven or you can heat it on pan. Turn the other side and let it bake for 10 minutes.
- Hot and tasty Garlic Eggless Bread Rolls are ready to serve.
