Rajasthani Mirchi Vada Recipe

Mirchi Vada otherwise called as Jodhpuri Mirchi Bada is an excellent combination of sweet and spicy flavors. This dish is quite popular in Rajasthan and taken as snack in the evenings. Follow the easy step by step preparation process to prepare this dish.
Ingredients
- 10Large green bell pepper or mirchi
- 1 cupBesan
- Salt to taste
- mixing forwater
- Oil forfrying
- 1 cupBoiled and mashed potatoes
- 1 tablespoonChili powder
- 1 tablespoonsAmchoor powder
- 2 tablespoonsCoriander powder
- pinchAsafoetida
- 1 tablespoon crushed Fennel seeds
- 1 tablespoon choppedGreen chilies
Directions
- Take a mixing bowl and add potatoes, salt, chili powder, amchoor powder, coriander powder, asafetida, green chilies
- Mix them well in the bowl
- Wash the green pepper and slit them lengthwise. Deseed and put them aside
- Fill them with potato filling
- Place them aside
- Prepare besan batter. Take a mixing bowl and add besan to it
- Add salt and enough water to form a smooth paste
- Place a frying pan on low flame and add oil to it for deep frying the chilies
- Dip the pepper in besan batter and drop them oil one after the other
- Fry them on low flame till they turn to golden brown in color
- Lift and transfer them to oil absorbent tissue paper
- Continue the process with other chilies also
- Place them on a serving plate and serve it hot to your guest.
Prepare this Tasty Mirchi Bajji on a cool rainy day and have it along with your family members. Stuffed masala when mingled with green peppers really tastes excellent. Have it with tangy tomato chutney. Have it once a week as there are added more Advantages of Green Bell Pepper.
