Restaurant Style Paneer Butter Masala Recipe

Ingredients
- 200 gramPaneer
- 2 tablespoonsCashew paste
- 5Tomatoes
- 2Green chilis
- 1 tablespoonGinger garlic paste
- 1Bay leaf
- 1 tablespoonDry Mint leaves powder
- 1 tablespoonGaram masala powder
- ½ tablespoonRed chili powder
- 2 cupsWater
- fewCoriander leaves
- Salt totaste
- if requiredSugar
Directions
- Take a pan and add oil to the pan
- Add bay leaves and fry for about 10-15 seconds
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry it till the raw aroma disappears
- Grind the tomatoes and add tomato puree to the pan
- Stir it well and add chili powder after 2 minutes
- Saute till the oil starts to leave aside from the tomato puree
- Add cashew paste to the tomato puree and stir it well
- Saute the paste till oil begins to leave from the sides
- Add water and stir on a low flame
- Add chilis, salt and simmer it till the curry begins to thicken
- Add paneer cubes to the pan and cook them for 3 minutes till they become soft
- Do not cook paneer for a long time as it becomes dense
- Finally add crushed fry mint leaves and masala powder to the pan
- Garnish Paneer Butter Masala with coriander leaves and serve it hot with plain naan, bread or rice
Add sugar and cream if required. For better taste, use ripe red tomatoes to prepare the dish. Paneer is a great source of calcium that helps in maintaining strong teeth and bones. It protects the teeth from the harmful sugars due to its lactose content. Taking this food at least once a week, helps in receiving Vitamin D along with calcium.
