Yummy Tandoori Roti Recipe
Tadoori Roti is similar to naan bread but is traditionally cooked on a clay oven or tandoor. It is prepared with normal chapatti dough and is extremely easy to prepare. Take a look at the step by step preparation of Tasty Tandoori Roti.
Ingredients
- 2 cupsWheat flour
- SaltTo Taste
- Water
- Oil or ButterTo Brush
Directions
- Add wheat flour to a mixing bowl and add water to make a soft dough
- Cover it and keep aside for about 30 minutes
- Divide the dough into equal portions and roll them into oval shapes
- Sprinkle water on the tops of rotis and flip the water side down on hot roti pan
- Flip over the other side directly on flame and heat it till black spots appear on top of the roti
- Place the roti on the hot pan and brush it with oil or butter
- Place it on a serving bowl and continue the same process with the remaining rotis
