Healthy Baked Oats Puri Recipe

This snack is crispy, crunchy, and also tasty and it can be also packed in your kid’s snack box. Try this healthy and easy puri recipe at your home.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cupOats flour (refer the notes below)
- 1 cupWhole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
- 2 tspDried fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi)
- 2 tspBlack sesame seeds (kala til)
- 2 tbspLow-fat curd (dahi)
- 1/2 tspGarlic (lehsun) paste
- 1 tspGreen chili paste
- 1/2 tspChili powder
- 2 tspOil
- Saltto taste
- WholeWheat flour (gehun ka atta) for rolling
Directions
- In a bowl, add oats flour, wheat flour, dried fenugreek leaves, black sesame seeds, curd, garlic paste, green chili paste, chili paste and oil and knead into a stiff dough by using enough water.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and roll out each portion into a 75 mm. (3”) diameter circle by using a little whole wheat flour for rolling.
- Prick the rolled out puris with a fork at regular intervals and arrange them on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven at 200°c (400°f) for 20 minutes, turn them once after 10 minutes or till they turn crisp.
- Serve it or store in an airtight container and enjoy whenever you want to.
Notes
- To get ½ cup of oats flour, blend ½ cup of quick cooking rolled oats in a mixer to a smooth powder.
