Oats and Raisins Cookie Recipe

Oats and Raisins Cookie are tasty and crunchy cookie that you can munch anytime in the day. Each bit of these cookies gives a wonderful mouth-feel and has a wonderful aroma. These cookies can be easily prepared in your home within few minutes. This is perfect after school snack your for kid’s. These cookies taste best with a cup of tea. Try this easy cookies recipe at your home.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup3/4 cup quick cooking rolled oats
- 1/4 cupcup whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
- 1/4 cupcup brown sugar
- 1/4 cupcup chopped raisins (kismis)
- 1 tbsplow-fat butter(kismis)
- 2 tbsplow-fat milk (99.7% fat-free)(kismis)
Directions
- In a bowl, add oats, wheat flour, brown sugar, chopped raisins, butter, milk and mix it nicely.
- Place a sheet of aluminum foil on a baking tray and divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a 50 mm. (2”) diameter flat round cookie.
- Arrange the cookies on the baking tray lined with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven for at 180°c (360°f) for 35 to 40 minutes and turn once after 20 minutes.
- Cool and store in an airtight container and enjoy it whenever you want with a cup of tea.
