Tasty Aloo Cheese Frankie Recipe

Aloo Cheese Frankie is tasty, mouth-watering dish which you can easily prepare for your kid’s. Every bite of this Frankie gives a nice taste and flavor. This is truly the best vegetarian recipe and also a great dish which can be eaten at any time in the day. Try this yummy and easy dish at your home.
Ingredients
For The Rotis
- 3/4 cupplain flour (maida)
- 1/2 tbspoil
- saltto taste
- plain flour(maida) for rolling
- Oilfor cooking
- 1 1/2 cupsboiled , peeled and mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cupgrated processed cheese
- 3 tbspcornflour
- 2 tspfinely chopped green chilies
- 1/2 tspgaram masala
- 1 tsplemon juice

- oilfor deep-frying
- 2 tbspwater
- 1/2 tspchili powder
- 1 tspdried mango powder (amchur)
- 1/4 tspgaram masala

- 1/2 cupchopped onions
- 1/2 tspchili powder
- 1/2 tspdried mango powder (amchur)

For The Potato Rolls

Directions
For the rotis
- In a bowl, add plain flour, oil, salt, and enough water and knead into a soft dough.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each portion into a 125 mm. (6”) diameter circle using a little plain flour for rolling.
- Heat a non-stick tawa (griddle) and cook each roti by using a little oil and fry till golden brown spots appear on both the sides and keep it aside.
For masala water mixture
- In a bowl, add water, chili powder, mango powder, garam masala, salt and mix it nicely and keep it aside.
For the potato rolls
- In a bowl, add potatoes, grated cheese, green chilies, garam masala, chopped green chilies, lemon juice, salt, and mix it well.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and roll each portion into a cylindrical roll.
- Heat the oil in a deep non-stick kadhai and deep-fry, 3 rolls at a time and fry till they turn golden brown in color from all the sides and keep it aside.
For Onion Masala Mixture
- In a bowl, add chopped onion, chili powder, dried mango powder, and salt and mix it nicely and keep it aside.
How to proceed
- Place a roti on a clean, dry surface and drizzle a little masala water evenly over it.
- Place a potato roll in the center, finally top with a little onion masala mixture, roll it up tightly and seal it with a toothpick.
- Place it in a plate and serve it with fresh salad.
