Tasty Mango Chunda Recipe

Mango Chunda is a classic Gujarati sweet and sour mango pickle that is made with raw mangoes. This pickle can be easily prepared with available ingredients. It is perfect on a busy day. This dish is perfect with any Indian meal.This dish has a nice taste, texture, color, and flavor. Let’s follow this recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 cupspeeled and grated raw mangoes
- 1 3/4sugar
- 1/4 tspturmeric powder (haldi)
- 1 tspsalt
- 1 tspchili powder
- 1/2 tsproasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
Directions
- In a non-stick pan, add grated mangoes, sugar, turmeric powder and salt, mix it well and cook on a low flame for 2 minutes and stir occasionally or till the sugar melts completely.
- Once the mixture starts bubbling, mix it well and cook on low flame for 6 minutes, and stir continuously or till 1 string consistency.
- Switch off the flame, transfer it to a deep bowl and allow it to cool completely.
- Once cooled, add the chili powder and cumin seeds powder and mix it well.
- Serve it with any meal or store in an airtight container and store in a dry, cool place.
