Healthy Palak Paneer Toast Recipe

Ingredients
For The Palak Paneer Mixture
- 1/4 cupspinach (palak) puree
- 1 cupchopped paneer (cottage cheese)
- 1 tbspbutter
- 1 tbspplain flour (maida)
- 1 cupmilk
- 1 cupgrated processed cheese
- 2 tspfinely chopped green chillies
- To TasteSalt and freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch)
Other Ingredients
- 10Toasted Bread Slices
Directions
For the palak paneer mixture
- Heat the butter in broad non-stick pan, add the plain flour, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute and stir continuously with a help of the whisk.
- Add the milk, salt and black pepper powder, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes and stir continuously.
- Add the spinach puree, cheese and green chilies, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 3 minutes and stir continuously.
- Add the paneer and mix gently and keep it aside.
How to proceed
- Place a toasted bread slice on a clean, dry surface, spread 2 tbsp of the prepared palak paneer mixture over it and spread it evenly.
- Serve it with a glass of chilled fruit juice.
