Easy Soya Methi Masala Recipe

Soya Methi Masala is a popular Indian household dish. This dish has a wonderful flavor, a nice aroma and also an amazing taste. This dish is very easy to prepare and prefect on a busy day. This dish has a nice delectable blend of spices. It tastes best with any Indian meal.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cupsoya granules
- 1 1/2 cupschopped fenugreek (methi) leaves
- 2 tspoil
- 1 tspcumin seeds (jeera)
- 1/2 cupchopped onions
- 1 tspgreen chili paste
- 1/2 tspturmeric powder (haldi)
- 1/2 tspchili powder
- 1/2 tspgaram masala
- saltto taste
- 1/2 cupboiled green peas
- 2 tbsplow-fat milk, 99.7% fat-free
Directions
- Step1Boil 2 cups of water in a deep non-stick pan and once done, switch off the flame and add the soya granules and keep aside for 5 minutes and then squeeze out the excess water and keep it aside.
- Step2Heat the oil in a non-stick kadhai and add the cumin seeds and when the seeds crackle, add the onions and green chili paste and fry on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Step3Add the fenugreek leaves and soya granules and fry on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Step4Add the turmeric powder, chili powder, garam masala, salt and 1 tbsp of water, mix it nicely and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes and stir occasionally.
- Step5Add the green peas and milk, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 1 more minute and stir occasionally.
- Step6Once done, switch off the flame and serve it hot with rice or roti.
