Eggless Mawa Cake Recipe

Eggless Mawa Cupcake is a classic tea time delicacy. This cupcake is moist and very light and gets an intense, caramelize flavor from the Mawa or Khoya. This cake is soft, moist, and very tasty. It is perfect for any occasion and taste best with a cup of tea. Try this cake recipe at your home.
Ingredients
- 150 gmall purpose flour
- 75 gmunsalted butter or white butter at room temperature
- 150 gmpowdered sugar
- 100 gmMawa/ Khoya
- 100 mlmilk
- 4 tbspcream
- ½ tspbaking powder
- ¼thcooking soda
- a pinchof salt
- 1 tspfresh cardamom powder
- ¼Th cupcashew nuts
Directions
- In a bowl, sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt and cardamom powder and keep aside.
- Heat a pan and add mawa, milk and cook on a low flame for 3-4 min and stir nicely and once done, switch off the and keep it aside.
- In a bowl, add butter and sugar and mix until smooth and fluffy and add the milk-mawa mixture and mix it with a help of a hand blender
- Add the flour mixture and mix it nicely and grease a baking tin with butter and pour the batter into the greased pan and top it with cashew.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 40-45 min or bake until the toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow it to cool and gently un-mold the cake and slice it and serve it with tea or coffee.
