Tasty and Healthy Masala Mushroom Recipe

Masala Mushroom is a popular and tasty restaurant dish. This is an interesting dish made with mushrooms and various spices. This vegetarian dish has a smooth texture and tastes just divine with a nice aroma. It is an extremely delicious side dish recipe that you can enjoy with any Indian meal. Ingredients
- 300 gmbutton mushrooms (khumbh)
- 3 mediumtomatoes boiled and pureed
- 3 mediumonions, thinly sliced
- 1 mediumcapsicum thinly sliced
- 2 tbspbutter
- 1bay leaf (tejpatta)
- 4cloves (laung / lavang)
- 2green cardamoms
- 1 smallstick cinnamon (dalchini)
- 1blade mace (javantri)
- saltto taste
- 4 tspgarlic-ginger-green chili paste
- 2 tspred chili powder
- 1 tbspcoriander (dhania) powder
- 1/2 tbspblack peppercorns (kalimirch), crushed
- 1/2 tspcumin seeds (jeera) powder
- 1/2 tspturmeric powder (haldi)
- 1/2 tspgaram masala
- 1 tbspfinely chopped coriander (dhania)
- 1/2 cupfresh cream
Directions
- Heat butter in a non-stick pan, add bay leaf, cloves, green cardamon, cinnamon, mace and onions, fry it till the onions are translucent.
- Add garlic-ginger-green chili paste and tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add capsicum and mushrooms, mix it well and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds powder, coriander powder, garam masala and fresh cream, mix it well and cook for a minute.
- Switch off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves and serve it with rice or roti.
