Carrot Dosa is a soft, healthy, colorful, and nutrient rich dosa that you can easily prepare in your home. It is one of the best way to include carrots in your diet. It is a perfect wholesome dish for morning breakfast. Let’s follow this tasty and healthy recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 cupgrated carrot
- 1 cuprice flour (chawal ka atta)
- 1/2 cupgrated coconut
- 2 tspsugar
- 2 tspfinely chopped green chilies
- 5 tbspfresh curd (dahi)
- saltto taste
- oilfor greasing and cooking
Directions
- In a bowl, add rice flour, sugar, curd, salt, grated carrot, green chilies, 1¾ cups of water and mix it well and make a batter of pouring consistency.
- Heat a non-stick tawa (griddle) and grease it lightly by using a little oil and pour a ladleful of the batter on the tawa (griddle) and spread to make a 125 mm. (5") diameter circle.
- Cook the dosa by using a little oil and cook on a medium flame till it turns golden brown in color from both the sides.
- Once done, switch off the flame and transfer it to a serving plate and serve it with coconut chutney.
