Chicken Stuffed Mirchi Bajji Recipe
The chillies are for the most part used in numerous dishes, starting from snacks to dinner. But, none can compete with hot yummy mirchi bajji stuffed with chicken. The home made mirchi bajjis are evenly healthy and tasty. This can be likable by people of all the age groups and served with a sauce to keep one’s tummy light weight. Try this recipe at home by following below given directions.
Ingredients
For cooking chicken
- 200 gmChicken
- 1 tspGinger garlic paste
- 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
- 1 tspChilli powder
- As requiredSalt
- A littlewater
For chicken filling
- 1 tspOil
- 1 bitLarge chopped onion
- 1 bitChopped green chilli
- Pieceof finely chopped ginger
- fewClove garlic
- 2 bitChopped tomatoes
- 1/2 tspChilli powder
- 1 tspCoriander powder
- 1 tspCumin powder
- A littleGaram masala powder
- As requiredsalt
- Choppedcoriander leaves
For batter
- 2 cupsBesan/Gram flour
- 1 tspChilli powder
- 1/2 tspAjwain (Optional)
- As reqiredSalt
- A littleWater
- Oilfor frying
Directions
For the filling
- Take a pressure cooker and add chicken pieces and little water
- Add 1 TSP ginger garlic paste, 1/4 TSP turmeric powder, 1 TSP chilli powder, 1 TSP salt and 1/4 TSP pepper powder.
- Pressure cook till the chicken is wholly cooked.
- After it is cooked, transfer the chicken pieces from pressure cooker to a plate and wait for it to cool down.
- Shred the chicken pieces and discard the bones.
- In a wide sauce pan, add 1 TSP of oil, 1 large chopped onion, 1 finely chopped green chilli, 1 finely chopped ginger and finely chopped cloves of garlic.
- Once onion turns brown in color, add 2 medium sized chopped tomatoes, 1/2 TSP chilli powder, 1 TSP coriander powder, 1 TSP garam masala powder, salt to taste as per required and mix it well.
- Now, add the shreded chicken and pour the stock that remain after bowling the chicken and mix well.
- Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
- Turn off the stove and let it cool down for a few minutes.
Deseeding a chilli
- Slit the green chilli in the middle, stopping little before the end of chilli Deseed the chilli if you don’t like it spicy, otherwise not needed.
Batter for bajjis
- Take a bowl, add 2 cups of besan/gram flour, 1 TSP chilli powder, 1/2 TSP ajwani (optional).
- Now add water in a bowl and mix it.
- Make sure the batter is not runny, rather should be thick consistency.
- Now, stuff the chicken filling in chilli/mirchi.
- Dip the stuffed chilli in the batter, make sure chilli is completely coated.
- Deep fry in hot oil, till it turns golden brown color.
Spicy Chiken Stuff Mirchi Bajji is Ready to Serve it to your guests.
