Soft Rajma Kebab Recipe

Rajma Kebab is melt in the mouth kebabs that is packed with flavors and taste. These kebabs are perfect for vegetarian and it is packed with proteins and nutrients. This is perfect tea time snack and can also be served as a starter at any parties.
Ingredients
- 1 cupsoaked and boiled rajma (kidney beans), lightly mashed
- 1 1/2 tspoil +1 tsp of oil for cooking
- 1/2 cupsliced onions
- 1 tspfinely chopped ginger (adrak)
- 1 1/2 tspfinely chopped green chilies
- 1/2 cupboiled, peeled and mashed potatoes
- 2 tbspchopped coriander (dhania)
- saltto taste
- 1/4 tspturmeric powder (haldi)
- 3/4 tspgaram masala
- 2 tbspcornflour
Directions
- Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan, add onions and fry on a medium flame till they turn translucent.
- Add ginger and green chilies and fry on a medium flame for 30 seconds and add the boiled rajma, mashed potatoes, coriander leaves, salt, turmeric powder and garam masala powder, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes and stir continuously and keep it aside to cool.
- Once it gets cool, add the cornflour and mix it well and divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into 50 mm. (2”) oval flat kebab.
- Cook each kebab on a non-stick tawa (griddle) by using 1/8 tsp of oil and cook till they turn golden brown in color from both the sides.
- Transfer it on a serving plate and serve it hot with green chutney.
