Paneer and Cheese Roll Recipe

Paneer and Cheese Roll is made of spicy filling wrapped in a roti. This quick recipe can be served as a snack and also as a main course.This Paneer recipe is a delightful dish that you can have at anytime in a day.It can also be packed in kids lunch box and also a healthy and wholesome roll recipe.
Ingredients
For The Roti
- 1 cupwhole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
- 1 tbspoil
- a pinchof salt
- whole wheatflour (gehun ka atta) for rolling
- 3/4 cupfresh curd (dahi), whisked
- 2 tspgarlic (lehsun) paste
- 1 1/2 tspgreen chili paste
- 1 tspcornflour
- 1/2 tsproasted cumin seeds (jeera) powder
- 1/2 tspcardamom (elaichi) powder
- 1 tspwhite pepper powder
- saltto taste
- 1 cuppaneer (cottage cheese) , cut into 25 mm (1") cubes
- 1/2 cuponions cut into 25 mm (1") cubes
- 1/2 cupcapsicum , cut into 25 mm (1") cubes
- 1 tbspoil for cooking
- 1/2 cupmayonnaise
- 2 tspgarlic (lehsun) paste
- 1/4 tspwhite pepper powder
- 2 cupsshredded cabbage
- 2 tspchaat masala
- 4 tbspgrated processed cheese
To Be Mixed Into A Marinate
For The Paneer and Vegetable Filling

Directions
For the roti
- In a bowl add wheat flour, oil, and salt and knead into a soft dough by using enough water and keep it aside.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and roll out each portion into 200 mm. (8”) diameter circle using a little flour.
- Heat a non-stick tawa (griddle) and lightly cook the roti on both the sides and keep it aside.
For The Marinate
- In a bowl add curd, cardamom powder, cumin seeds powder, white pepper powder, salt, green chili paste and mix it well and keep it aside.
For the paneer and vegetable filling
- In a bowl add the paneer cubes, onion cubes, capsicum cubes, add the marinate and toss it gently and keep it aside to marinate for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick tawa (griddle) and cook the marinated paneer and vegetable filling on a medium flame for 8 to 10 minutes and keep it aside.
How to proceed
- Just before serving, warm a roti on a non-stick tawa and place the roti on a clean, dry surface and place 1/4th of the paneer and vegetable filling in a single row in the center of the roti.
- Arrange 1/4th of the cabbage over it and sprinkle 1/2 tsp of chaat masala and 1 tbsp of cheese over it.
- Finally spread 2 tbsp of garlic mayo over it and roll up the roti tightly.
- Serve it hot with a chill glass of juice.
