Healthy Soyabean Tikki Recipe

Soyabean Tikki is a healthy, tasty, and delicious snack which is prefect for any occasion. Soyabean is a rich source of protein and perfect for vegetarian. This tikki has a fantastic flavor and taste. It is perfect evening snack. Let’s follow this recipe.
Ingredients
- 200 gmsoyabean
- 100 gmchana dal (split Bengal gram)
- 3garlic (lehsun) cloves
- 2ginger (adrak)
- 2whole dry kashmiri red chilies
- saltto taste
- 1/2 tspfreshly ground black pepper powder
- 1/2 tsppowdered cumin seeds (jeera)
- 1 pinchgaram masala
- 1/2 tspred chili powder
- oilfor frying
Directions
- In a deep pan, pour 2 cups water, soyabean, chana dal, garlic, ginger, salt and red chilies and cook for 5 minutes or until the water is totally absorbed and switch off the flame.
- In a blender transfer this soya-chana mixture and blend until smooth and transfer it to a bowl.
- Add the pepper powder, cumin seeds powder, red chili powder, garam masala, salt and mix it well with your hands.
- Now make small balls from this mixture and make small round or ovals shaped tikkis.
- Heat oil in the pan and fry it on a low flame until golden brown in color and drain it on an absorbent paper and serve it hot with coriander chutney.
Tips
- You may either shallow fry the tikkis or can roast them in the oven.
- If the mixture is too soft and you are not able to make the round tikkis, then you can use breadcrumbs, which will give a good shape to the tikkis.
