Heat 4 tbsp of ghee in a broad vessel, add the besan mixture and cook on a low flame for 8 to 10 minutes and stir continuously, switch off the flame and keep it aside. Heat the milk and ¾ cup of water in a deep kadhai, add the besan mixture and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes and stir continuously. Add the sugar and cook on a medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes and stir continuously and add cardamom powder, mix it nicely and switch off the flame. Garnish it with almonds slices and serve it hot and relish its flavors. Tasty Besan Sheera/Halwa Recipe

Besan Sheera/Halwa is rich and very delicious Indian dessert. It is a traditional prepared during the special occasion. This dessert is made with besan, sugar,  ghee and milk. Besan (gram flour) is a rich source of carbohydrates and protein. Let’s follow this recipe.

Ingredients

    • 3/4 cupbesan (gram flour)
    • 3/4 cupmilk
    • 5 tbspmelted ghee (clarified butter)
    • 3/4 cupsugar

For The Garnish

  • 1/4 tspcardamom (elaichi) powder
  • 10-15blanched and sliced almonds (badam)

Directions
