Egg Masala Dry is a delicious spicy preparation of eggs. This dish is loaded with flavors and is very easy to prepare at home. This dish is perfect for weekend lunch or dinner. It is pair well with paratha or rice. Try this mouth-watering dish for your family members.
Ingredients
- 4eggs
- 3 tbspoil
- 1 1/2 cupssliced onions
- 1 tspfinely chopped green chilies
- 1 1/2 tspginger-garlic (adrak-lehsun) paste
- 1 cupchopped tomatoes
- 1/2 tspchili powder
- 1/4 tspturmeric powder (haldi)
- 1/2 tspgaram masala
- saltto taste
- 2 tbspfinely chopped coriander leaves (dhania)
For The Garnish
- 2 tbspfinely chopped coriander leaves (dhania)
Directions
- In a deep pan add enough water and add eggs and cook on a medium flame for 9 minutes and drain water from the eggs.
- Remove the shell from eggs and cut each egg into halves and keep it aside.
- Heat the oil in a deep non-stick kadhai, add the onions and green chilies and fry on a medium flame for 6 minutes.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and fry on a medium flame for 30 seconds and add the tomatoes, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes and stir occasionally and mash it lightly with a back of a spoon.
- Add the chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute.
- Add the coriander leaves and ¼ cup of water, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute and stir occasionally.
- Gently add the egg halves and stir at regular intervals, mix it gently and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes and switch off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot with any Indian meal.
