Black Bean Soup is a wholesome, flavorful soup perfect for quick, light meals. This soup is a power pack soup and has a perfect taste and flavors. It is healthy and ideal for kids and women. Try this healthy recipe for your family members.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cupblack beans, soaked for 5 hours and drained
- 2 tspoil
- 1/4 cupfinely chopped onions
- 2 tspchopped garlic (lehsun)
- 1 cuproughly chopped tomatoes
- saltto taste
For The Garnish
- 2 tbsphung curd (chakka dahi)
Directions
- Heat the oil in a pressure cooker, add onions and garlic and fry on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Add the chopped tomatoes, black beans, 1½ cups of water and salt, mix it well and pressure cook for 25 min.
- Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid and allow it to cool a little and blend it until smooth.
- Transfer the mixture into a deep pan, add ¼ cup of water, mix it well and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes and stir occasionally.
- Garnish it with hung curd and serve it hot.
Notes
- If you want a rich and creamy taste for your soup then you can garnish with cream instead of hung curd.
