Urad Dal Ladoo is a quick and easy ladoo recipe which is rich in protein and also delicious. Ladoo is a classic Indian sweet, prepared very easily with few ingredient. Try this yummy ladoo recipe on any festival and treat your family members.
Ingredients
- 1 cupUrad dal
- 1 cupSugar
- 3 to 4 tbspGhee
- 10-15Cashews chopped
- 10-15Almonds chopped
- 10-12Pistachios chopped
- 10-15Raisins
- ¼ tspCardamom powder
Directions
- In a pan add urad dal and dry roast till it is light golden brown in color and keep it aside to cool and blend into a smooth powder.
- Sieve the blended urad dal flour, so that all the thick particles are left behind and the texture of the flour should be smooth.
- Also, blend the sugar to a smooth powder and keep it aside and also in a pan dry roast the cashew, almond, and pistachios till golden in color and keep it aside.
- In a bowl urad dal flour, powdered sugar, raisins, roasted nuts, and cardamom powder and mix it well.
- In a deep pan heat ghee and pour the hot ghee to the dal mixture and mix it nicely and take a small portion of the mixture in your hands and shape into small round balls.
- Place it on a plate and store it in an airtight container and enjoy whenever you want to.
