Easy Gobi Tikka Recipe

Gobi Tikka is a lip smacking side dish.It is a rich, delectable dish that is perfect for any occasion.The addition of curd and various spices gives fantastic flavors and aroma to this dish. This easy recipe goes well as a side dish or as an appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 Mediumsized cauliflower
- 3 tablespoonsgram flour
- 2 cupsthick curd, whisked smooth
- ½ teaspoonchili powder
- ½ teaspoonturmeric powder
- ½ teaspooncoriander powder
- ½ teaspoongaram masala
- ½ teaspoonchaat masala
- ½ teaspooncrushed ginger
- ½ teaspoonkasoori methi
- Saltto taste
Directions
- Pick the cauliflower florets into bite size pieces and in a deep pan add water, gobi, salt, and turmeric powder and boil for a minute and switch off the flame and keep aside for 15 min and then drain the water from the gobi.
- In a pan dry roast gram flour and roast it nicely and transfer to a bowl add curd, chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam powder, chaat powder, crushed ginger, kasoori methi, and salt and mix it well and make a thick batter.
- Add the cauliflower florets and mix well to coat each floret with the batter and keep it aside and let it marinate for 2 hours.
- Heat a grill pan or tawa and brush with 2 teaspoons oil and arrange the florets and fry till golden brown from both the sides on a medium flame and alternately you can arrange the pieces on a grill tray and grill them at 250 C in a preheated oven for 15-28 minutes.
- Serve this delicious gobi tikka with green chutney or as a side dish.
Notes
- If you want to coat the florets completely with batter keep the consistency thick, add only 1¾ cup curd.
- You can add a pinch of amchoor powder or lemon juice to the curd mixture.
